On the 2nd of November 2009 the meeting took place between the representatives of “Zarubezhstroy” corporation (belongs to the construction division of Borodino Group) and the delegation of the Republic of Uganda headed by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Uganda – His Excellency Moses Ebuk.

The first step to the establishment of business cooperation was the discussion of strategically meaningful directions of future partnership.
The following spheres of cooperation were declared priority: power, construction of industrial objects and infrastructure, telecommunications, health care and processing of agricultural complex.

“Zarubezhstroy” corporation is ready to cooperate with the Government of Uganda in the sphere of modernization of the existing projects of the industrial complex and transport infrastructure, and the creation of new objects in the spheres of health care and agricultural products processing with the appliance of its experience and the most advanced technologies, implemented at the enterprises of the Group”, says the Deputy Director for Abroad Activity of “Zarubezhstroy” Razmik Tarverdyan.
In his turn, His Excellency Moses Ebuk emphasized “The offer to cooperate with the Corporation is really of interest to us, because our Republic needs industrial and medical infrastructure to be established. In order to achieve successful performance of prospective projects, the government of Uganda is ready to assist in all ways possible”.

Close cooperation in the sphere of large-scale projects in the territory of the Republic will give new impulse to the economical relations of the RF and East Africa countries. Stability and the growth of economical potential of Uganda, resulting from the reforms conducted by the President and the Government of Uganda, provides new opportunities for the Russian business in terms of performance of some perspective projects, increasing the presence of Russia at East Africa market.
The Group’s active participation in the international activity results in the significant expansion of volume, spheres and geography of international projects of different level and designation.
During the meeting it was agreed to arrange as soon as possible the negotiations between the representatives of Borodino Group and the representatives of the Ministry of Uganda.
