From 27th till 31st of January, 2010 the official visit of “Zarubezhstroy” delegation to Republic of Uganda was held.
The visit was a continuation of the meeting of “Borodino” Group of Companies Management with Minister of Works and Transport of Republic of Uganda Honorable John Nasasira that took place on the 21st of November, 2009.
Delegation of “Zarubezhstroy” headed by General Director Mr. Razmik Tarverdyan has conducted negotiations with National Housing & Construction Company Limited (NHCC), Ministry of the Finance, Ministry of Energetic and Management of Investment Committee of Republic of Uganda.
During the negotiations “Zarubezhstroy” corporation has proposed a project of reconstruction of the railway system of the Republic, including construction of the new railway connecting Kenya and Uganda in order to facilitate the cargo transportation from Mombasa port (Kenya) to the capital of Uganda – city of Kampala.
As a result of the negotiations, there was the decision taken of the creation of Joint Venture between “Zarubezhstroy” and NHCC for the further realization of the state program for habitation construction in the Republic of Uganda. Also the Parties have signed the Intention Memorandum and have defined the next steps of the further cooperation.
